We were honored to be part of the Less for More Fall 2025 Lecture Series, organized by Cornell AAP, and to contribute to the conversation on collaborative and low-tech environmental design.

As part of this lecture series, centered on Collective Visions for a Climate-Conscious Future, we had the opportunity to share our perspectives on designing in arid landscapes, discussing the relationship between architecture, ecology, and local knowledge, and exploring how context-driven design can respond to today's environmental challenges.

It was a privilege to engage with students, faculty, and fellow practitioners through this inspiring initiative, presented in conjunction with the course Designing Deserts: Architecture, Ecology, and Imagination in Arid Lands. We are sincerely grateful to Cornell University, Cornell AAP, and everyone involved for the invitation and the thoughtful exchange of ideas.
